Secretarial Audit

An audit to check and monitor compliance under the prescribed regulations and whether the Company has systems and processes in commensurate with its business operations. Secretarial Audit report is an indicator of governance in the Company.

A Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India holding valid Certificate of Practice (Company Secretary in Practice) can engage in Secretarial Audit.

Secretarial audit report shall be annexed with the Board's Report and the qualifications/observations/remarks/disclaimers shall be duly explained in the Board's Report.
